Welcome to the site of the “Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Oil Producers & Breeders” under the name “Thermasia Dimitra”.
Our headquarters are the village of Thermisia, which is a local community of the Municipality of Hermionis in Argolida and we are housed in the building of the former Primary School of Pigadia, in the settlement of our village.
Μunicipality of Hermionis gave us the property because it is ideal and meets our present needs. Moreover it is important for all of us to work in a building that has been abandoned for many years, since our daily presence will provide vividness as it was in the past years when farmers worked in the building exchanging knowledge and ideas.
At the same time, we wanted to send out the message that the first element to succeed was our retraining, which we are generally lagging behind. In a nutshell, farmers to sit back in the desks and gain scientific knowledge.
Following our founding philosophy, as a Cooperative Society, in particular an Agricultural Cooperative Organization in which all the farmers and breeders of the Municipality of Ermionida can participate, we maintain as a necessary condition for their accession to agree and comply with the following:
- to embrace our cooperative principles.
- to act as a group and not individually.
- to accept that collective decisions are applied by everyone.
- to understand that has joined an Organization that operates with a strict internal structure where all have rights, obligations, and there are consequences for anyone who does not follow the rules.
